UFC 193 finally has a venue, and it’s a sizeable one.

On Wednesday, the promotion confirmed that the November 14th card will be hosted by Melbourne, Australia’s Etihad Stadium, which has hosted football, cricket and rugby matches over the years. As expected, the card will be headlined by a welterweight fight between champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit, and in the co-main event, Mark Hunt will rematch heavyweight Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

“Finally the UFC is coming to Melbourne in what will be the biggest UFC event EVER!” UFC president Dana White saidiin the official announcement. “There’s been a lot of talk about Melbourne, title fights and stadium shows. The UFC is doing all three at the Etihad Stadium in front of 70,000 people. Australia has been an amazing market for the UFC and to thank the Aussies for all of their support we are bringing the superstar of the welterweight division, UFC World Champion Robbie Lawler.  He will be facing the always-exciting “Natural Born Killer” Carlos Condit. Robbie Lawler is coming off of the most exciting title defense in welterweight history. We are also bringing the rematch of the greatest heavyweight fight I have ever seen between New Zealand legend Mark Hunt vs. Big Foot Silva. November 15 is going to be insane!”

Due to the time difference between North America and Australia, the card will take place on the 15th in the latter.

In addition, the UFC has announced the middleweight Michael Bisping will take on Australia’s Robert Whittaker at the event, as well as several other match-ups featuring Australian fighters.

Some of the new additions include Jake Matthews vs. Akbarh Arreola,  Kyle Noke vs. Peter Sobotta, Anthony Perosh vs. Gian Villante, Daniel Kelly vs. Ricardo Abreu and Richard ‘Walsh vs. Steve Kennedy.

The event will be available via pay-per-view.
