UFC 195: Dustin Poirier vs. Joe Duffy Rescheduled
By FCF Staff
Following the cancellation of their first meeting earlier this month, Dustin Poirier and Joseph Duffy have been rescheduled to fight on January 2nd.
The lightweights were initially booked to fight at UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin, however, a mild concussion forced Duffy to withdraw. Now the promotion has confirmed Duffy-Poirier has been added to UFC 195, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Duffy (14-1) has gone 2-0 thus far in the UFC, and most recently in July, he submitted Ivan Jorge.
Poirier (18-4) moved to the lightweight division earlier this year, and the former featherweight has earned consecutive wins over Carlos Diego Ferreira and Yancy Medeiros.
UFC 195 will be headlined by a welterweight fight between champion Robbie Lawler and Carlos Condit.
