After reports surfaced last week that the UFC was hoping to schedule Conor McGregor vs. Rafael dos Anjos and Holly Holm vs. Miesha Tate for March 5th, the promotion has announced that the fights are official.

UFC 197 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

McGregor laid claim to the featherweight title last month by knocking out long time champ Jose Aldo in 13 seconds. RDA, meanwhile, quickly stopped Donald Cerrone one week later to defend the lightweight belt.

Holm rocked the MMA world in November by knocking out Ronda Rousey to become bantamweight champion. Tate, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since last July when she decisioned Jessica Eye.
