UFC 199: Michael Bisping Begins Campaign to Replace Injured Chris Weidman
By FCF Staff
Not long after it was reported that Chris Weidman has been forced out of his rematch with Luke Rockhold, Michael Bisping’s announced he wants the short notice, title fight.
Weidman has reportedly withdrawn from the June 4th, UFC 199 card due to an undisclosed injury. The UFC is apparently looking for a replacement, but has yet to comment on the reported injury.
Bisping, however, has made it clear that he’s willing to face Rockhold again, as the outspoken fighter recently tweeted this:
Training camps separate the boys from the men. This sport isn't for everyone. 2 weeks notice? I'm down!!! @ufc #realfighter #fightersfighter

The British star, who is coming off a decision win over the legend Anderson Silva, was submitted by Rockhold in 2014. The latter won the middleweight championship in December by stopping Weidman at UFC 194.
