Following the news that Derek Brunson has been forced to withdraw from UFC 200, due to issues he’s having with his vision, the promotion has confirmed that Thiago “Marreta” Santos will be replacing him. Brunson was scheduled to fight Gegard Mousasi at the July 9th card.

Santos (13-3) has won four straight fights since he was decisioned by Uriah Hall in 2014, and is coming off a KO win over Nate Marquardt.

Mousasi (38-6-2) worked his way to a UD win over Thales Leites in February, after he was stopped by Hall in September. The middleweight contender is 3-2 in his last 5 bouts.

Brunson recently reported on Facebook that he’s been seeing double lately, and as a result, he’s had to withdraw.

UFC 200 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
