Leading up to tonight’s UFC 202 card, the expectation was that both Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz are set to make big money, and that clearly is the case.

The fighters are going to battle in the headliner of tonight’s event, after Diaz submitted McGregor in their first fight, this past March. According to a report from MMA Fighting.com, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has disclosed that McGregor will make $3 million for the bout. That figure is the highest, guaranteed fight purse in UFC history.

At UFC 200 in July, Brock Lesnar set a new fight purse record, as it was revealed he made $2.5 million for his decision win over Mark Hunt.

Diaz, on the other hand, is guaranteed $2 million for the UFC 202 main event. Neither he or McGregor will receive a win bonus. Those totals do not include any pay-per-view dividends the fighter are set to make.

UFC 202 is underway at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
