Following his submission loss to Nate Diaz in March, Conor McGregor is reporting that his ground game is on point, as his rematch with the BJJ black belt approaches.

Diaz quickly moved into a fight ending, rear-naked-choke at UFC 196, after McGregor shot in and failed to score a takedown. The latter brought in Marcelo Garcia black belt, Dillon Danis to help him prepare for UFC 202, and McGregor said this on the latest “UFC Tonight“:

“I think he has skills. There’s no question. I won all the grappling exchanges up until that left landed and my tank was empty. As long as my tank is there, I’m prepared. There’s no doubt that I’m coming out successful. My jiu-jitsu has been great. I have areas I need to work on and I’ve worked tirelessly on them.”

UFC 202 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday.
