Following the withdrawal of Ben Rothwell from UFC 203, the promotion has announced that Travis Browne has agreed to step up and fight Fabricio Werdum.  Rothwell has been removed from the September 10th card due to injury.

Browne (18-4-1) and Werdum (20-6-1) fought in 2014, and the latter scored a unanimous decision win. Since then, Browne has gone 2-2 and is coming off a stoppage loss to Cain Velasquez.

Werdum, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since May when he was stopped by Stipe Miocic and lost the heavyweight title.

UFC 203 will be headlined by a fight between Miocic and Alistair Overeem.
