Cody Garbrandt has finished his last three opponents in the opening round, but Dominick Cruz is reminding the bantamweight contender he’s one of the most elusive fighters in the game.

Cruz will look to defend the 135 title against Garbrandt tonight in the co-headliner for UFC 207, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Recently the champion was featured in the latest “UFC Tonight“, and Cruz had this to say about the match-up (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“I’m not a stationary target,” said Cruz, when asked why he’s different than Garbrandt’s previous opponents. “It’s easy to shoot something if it’s stationary.”

“I see myself going out there and making him look silly and miss. And when he’s going back to the stool, he’ll be wondering what he’s doing and walking out with the zero.”

Cruz is coming off a decision win over Garbrandt’s friend and teammate, Urijah Faber, in June. Garbrandt quickly stopped Takeya Mizugaki in his last outing, which took place in August.
