Not only does Tony Ferguson plan to hand Khabib Nurmagomedov his first defeat on Saturday night at UFC 209, but “El Cucuy” says the lightweight won’t want to fight again, after they battle.

Ferguson and Nurmagomedov are going to fight for the interim, 155 title at the event, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. On the latest “UFC Tonight“, Ferguson had this to say about Nurmagomedov and their bout (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“He’s a lay-and-pray guy, like Danny Castillo, and lets it go to the judges. When I’m done with him, he’s going to retire. He’s never seen a fighter like me. I keep my elbows sharp like a meat grinder. If this guy tries to take me down, he’s going to mess with 20 years of USA grappling here. I’m going to bring it to him.”

Nurmagomeodov has gone 24-0 since the renowned grappler and Sambo champ transitioned into pro MMA. Ferguson, meanwhile, is riding a nine fight winning streak. Most recently, Ferguson earned a decision win over former champ Rafael dos Anjos in November, and Nurmagomedov submitted Michael Johnson that same month.

UFC 209 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena.
