Jon Jones will likely face the winner of tonight’s UFC 210 headliner, and the former light-heavyweight champ believes he’ll be facing Daniel Cormier for a second time.

Cormier will battle the heavy handed, Anthony Johnson tonight, which will mark the second time they have fought. In 2015, Cormier submitted Johnson to secure the vacant, light-heavyweight title. That fight took place approximately five months after Jones earned a decision win over Cormier.

Jones was on hand for a press conference yesterday in Buffalo, where tonight’s UFC card is being held. When asked for his take on who will win Cormier – Johnson II, “Bones” said this (quote via MMA Fighting):

“Do I think he [Johnson] beats DC?,” Jones said. “I think he has a very strong chance to do it, a puncher’s chance. But if I were to bet, I’d put my money on Daniel Cormier just because the last performance and it boils right down to what I was saying, you have to have the total package to be at a certain level of the sport and DC is closer to that level of having that complete game. So I think Anthony has a chance, but if I had to bet, I would definitely go with Cormier.”

Jones went on to say that he thinks Johnson is a “one dimensional” fighter, but that he’s “extremely talented with God given knockout power.”

UFC 210 will be hosted by the KeyBank Center.
