Although Jose Aldo has fought just two times since 2014, Max Holloway isn’t concerned the featherweight champ will have a bag of new tricks tonight.

Holloway will face Aldo in the main event of UFC 212, which will be hosted by Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The fight will mark the first time Aldo has fought since last July, when he scored a decision win over Frankie Edgar. Holloway, meanwhile, stopped Anthony Pettis in December, which was the American’s sixth fight since 2014.

The interim 145 champ appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight” this week, and Holloway was asked if it’s been hard to prepare for Aldo, since the champ hasn’t fought much in recent years. Holloway had this to say (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“Not really. Aldo is Aldo. You see what you get. Everyone is different, watching from the outside. When we get in the Octagon and the doors shut, it’s a different story. I can’t wait to get in there and mix it up and see how he feels in there.”

Holloway was also asked about he plans to deal with Aldo’s infamous leg kicks, and the Hawaiian offered this:

“It’s called Pay Per View. A magician never reveals his secrets. Tune in. Don’t miss it. You’ll see history in the making. I said in December a star is going to be born. A new star is going to be born on June 3rd.”

UFC 212 will be hosted by the HSBC Arena.
