Chances are the upcoming bout between Robbie Lawler and Donald Cerrone is on most fans’ can’t miss lists, and the latter understands why.

Lawler and Cerrone are booked to fight at UFC 213, which will take place during International Fight Week on July 8th. Since the fight will feature two of the welterweight division’s most dangerous and aggressive strikers, the fight’s announcement was widely praised.

During a recent media luncheon to promote UFC 213, Cerrone had this to say about the upcoming fight (quote via MMA Junkie):

“Oh, for sure. In my mind it already is,” Cerrone said, when asked if the bout is a “Fight of the Year” contender. “‘Fight of the Everything.’ Fight of my life. Can’t wait, man. I’m (expletive) pumped. It’s going to be exciting. I don’t even know why I need to keep selling this fight. If you’re not a (expletive) MMA fan and watching this fight, then (expletive) you. That’s all I’ve got to say.”

Cerrone will be fighting for the first time since January, when he was stopped by Jorge Masvidal. Prior to the defeat, the former lightweight contender had won four straight.
