It remains to be seen what’s next for Conor McGregor, following his controversial incident at the UFC 223 media day, but Khabib Nurmagomedov is still keenly interested in fighting the Irish star.

McGregor and his entourage showed up at the event, and video has surfaced, which allegedly shows McGregor vandalizing the fighter van that Nurmagomedov was in. Michael Chiesa was reportedly cut during the incident, and Dana White’s reported that another UFC employee was injured during the fracas.

Since then, MMA Fighting spoke with Nurmagomedov, and he had this to say about McGregor:

“I am laughing inside,” Nurmagomedov said. “You broke window? Why? Come inside. You know UFC don’t let you come inside. If you real gangster why don’t you come inside?

“To be honest, I don’t want him to go to jail, We have to fight. If we have to fight, let’s fight. Send me location. Please, we have to fix this. Me and you. One-on-one. You want 10-on-10? OK.”

Nurmagomedov is booked to fight Max Holloway for the lightweight title in the main event of UFC 223.
