After extensive speculation as to when and if Michael Bisping will fight rival Luke Rockhold, the promotion has announced the two will battle November 8th in Sydney, Australia.

In addition, the UFC has confirmed that “Shogun” Rua will fight Jimi Manuwa at it’s event in Uberlandia, Brazil that same day.

Bisping (25-6) is coming off a fourth round, stoppage win over Cung Le last month, while Rockhold (12-2) scored a stoppage win over Tim Boestch in April.

Rua (22-9) will be looking to rebound from the stoppage loss he suffered versus Dan Henderson in March, which was the same month Manuwa (14-1) was TKO’d by Alexander Gustafsson.

UFC FN 55 in Syndey will be hosted by the Allphones Arena, and UFC FN 56 in Uberlandia is expected to take place at the Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neves.
