UFC Announces Debut Card For South Korea

The UFC’s global expansion continues, as following the promotion’s first card in the Philippines, the company announced it will make its South Korea debut on November 28th. The card will be hosted by Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena and will be a Fight Night event.

Executive Vice President and General Manager, UFC Asia, Kenneth Berger was quoted saying in the official announcement:

“The UFC in Asia is growing at an impressive pace and this event in Seoul will mark our second new market this year. South Korea has some of Asia’s best MMA athletes and this event is fully expected to illustrate just how powerful and technical these fighters have become. As usual we will bring a truly international fight card to the region, giving our loyal fans and those new to the sport a thrilling night to remember.”

Some of the South Korean fighters who are currently on the UFC’s roster include Dong Hyun Kim, Chan Sung Jung and Hyun Gyu Lim.

No bouts have been announced yet for the upcoming event.
