It hasn’t taken the UFC long to book Stipe Miocic’s first title defense, following his championship win on May 14th, as the promotion’s confirmed he’ll take on Alistair Overeem, September 10th.

The bout will headline UFC 203, and it will mark the first time the promotion has held an event in Cleveland, Ohio. Miocic lives and trains in the Cleveland region.

Miocic (15-2) laid claim to the heavyweight title at UFC 198 earlier this month, by knocking out Fabricio Werdum in the opening round.

Overeem (41-14), meanwhile, stopped Andrei Arlovski on May 8th to record his fourth straight victory. The Dutch fighter is ranked #3.

UFC 203 will be hosted by Cleveland’s Q Arena.
