The UFC continues to build the line-up for its February 6th card in Las Vegas, as the promotion has announced that Joseph Benavidez will take on Zach Makovsky at the event.

UFC 196 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Benavidez (23-4) is coming off a decision win over Ali Bagautinov in October, and the Team Alpha Male fighter has won four straight. Benavidez is currently ranked #1 in the 125 division.

Makovsky (19-6) hasn’t fought since last May when he was decisioned by John Dodson. The former Bellator champ is ranked #8 in the flyweight division.

UFC 196 will feature a rematch between heavyweight champ Fabricio Werdum and Cain Velasquez.
