After announcing his intentions to return to fighting several months ago, BJ Penn finally has a date and opponent for his next bout.

According to a report from Yahoo.com, UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Penn will face Dennis Siver on June 4th at UFC 199. Penn was expected to fight earlier this year, however, after the fighter was accused of sexually assaulting the girlfriend of an ex-employee, the UFC pushed back his return.

The aforementioned report also quotes UFC COO Lawrence Epstein, who reported the promotion looked into the allegations, but concluded there was no evidence at this time to warrant any action. Penn has denied the allegations.

The 37 year-old Penn will be fighting for the first time since 2014 when he was stopped by Frankie Edgar. The former welterweight and lightweight champ carries a record of 16-10-2.

Siver, who is also 37, is coming off a decision loss to Tatsuya Kawajiri last June. The veteran fighter has a record of 22-11.
