When Andrew Holbrook faces Jake Matthews today he’ll have Chris Lytle in his corner, and the lightweight’s keenly aware of the guidance “Lights Out” can provide.

Holbrook and Matthews will battle at UFC Fight Night 101, which will take place in Melbourne, Australia. Recently Holbrook spoke to UFC.com about today’s fight, and while discussing the benefits of training with Lytle, the 11-1 fighter stated:

“It’s real nice,” said Holbrook, who has finished 1o of the 12 opponents he’s faced to date. “It definitely shows me good things to do and he’s a great person to be able to push you, too.”

“I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to win against him, but I try,” he reportedly added with a laugh.

Holbrook is coming off a KO loss to Joaquim Silva at the TUF 23 Finale in July, and Matthews was stopped by Kevin Lee at the same event.
