Robert Whittaker won’t forget UFC Fight Night 101 anytime soon, as not only did he take out middleweight contender Derek Brunson, “The Reaper” collected an extra $100,000 in bonuses.

Whittaker finished Brunson in the opening round of the card’s main event, by rocking the powerful wrestler with a headkick, and then finishing him with punches. After the card, it was announced that Whittaker earned $50,000 for a “Performance of the Night” bonus, and that the middleweights had also earned “Fight of the Night”. As a result, the 25 year-old made an extra $100K.

The other “POTN” went to Tyson Pedro, who submitted Khalil Rountree in the first round with a rear-naked-choke.

UFC FN 101 took place in Melbourne, Australia.
