The UFC has announced that Andre Soukhamthath has agreed to step up and fight Luke Sanders at UFC Fight Night 123 on December 9th in Sacramento, California.

The latter was scheduled to fight bantamweight contender Bryan Caraway, but he’s been forced to withdraw due to injury.

Soukhamthath (11-5) is looking to get back on track after losing consecutive, split decisions to Albert Morales and Alejandro Perez.

Sanders (11-1), meanwhile, is coming off his first and only pro loss, as he was submitted by Iuri Alcantara in March.

UFN FN 123 will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega.
