Now that Hyun Gyu Lim has moved into the UFC Fight Night 34 main event, as a result of Jake Ellenberger’s withdrawal, Luiz Dutra will battle Lim’s initial opponent Kiichi Kunimoto. Dutra’s addition to the card was confirmed via the UFC Brazil Twitter account.

Dutra (11-2-1), competed on the second season of TUF Brazil, is currently riding a four fight win streak. The last man to defeat the welterweight is Paulo Thiago, after “Besouro” incurred an injury in their 2009 bout and could not continue.

Kunimoto (15-5-2) has also won four straight fights, and like Dutra, the Japanese fighter has been defeated just once in his last ten bouts. “Strasser” will also be making his UFC debut at the January 4th card, which will take place in Singapore,

Lim will take on former Strikeforce champion Tarec Saffiedine in the main event.
