The UFC’s upcoming January 15th card in Duluth, Georgia has picked up a compelling light-heavyweight bout, as the promotion has announced Thiago Silva will fight Ovince St. Preux. The UFC Fight Night 35 card will be hosted by the city’s Gwinnett Center.

Silva (16-3) is coming off back-to-back wins over Matt Hamill and Rafael Cavalcante, after his submission win over Stanislav Nedkov last November was overturned (due to testing positive for marijuana).

St. Preux (14-5) has won three bouts in a row, which includes victories over Cody Donovan and Gian Villante since he joined the UFC.

UFC FN 35 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between Costa Philippou and former Strikeforce champ Luke Rockhold.
