UFC FN 40: Tim Means Returning to Octagon to Face Neil Magny
By FCF Staff
After scoring back-to-back stoppage wins with Legacy FC, Tim Means is returning to the UFC and will fight Neil Magny on May 10th. The welterweight bout will be part of UFC Fight Night 40, which will be hosted by Cincinnati’s U.S. Bank Arena.
Magny was originally scheduled to meet William Macario at the event, however, the reason for the latter’s withdrawal was not announced.
Means (20-5-1) was released by the UFC following his decision loss to Danny Castillo last July, which followed a UD defeat to Jorge Masvidal. Prior to the losses, Means scored wins over Justin Salas and Bernado Magalhaes in the Octagon.
Magny (9-3) will be looking to build on the decision win he recorded over Gasan Umalatov in February, after dropping bouts to Seth Baczynski and Sergio Moraes. The welterweight has also gone 2-2 in the Octagon to date.
UFC FN 40 will feature Matt Brown taking on Erick Silva in the main event.
