Ilir Latifi has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 46, and it’s promotional newcomer Chris Dempsey.

The UFC has announced that Latifi’s original opponent, Tom Lawlor, has withdrawn from the July 19th card. Although the announcement didn’t mention why Lawlor is no longer fighting, MMA Junkie is reporting the veteran has been injured.

Dempsey (10-1) joins the UFC having won eight straight fights, which includes four finish victories with Gladiators of the Cage.

Latifi (8-3) is coming off a first round, submission win over Cyrille Diabte in March, after being decisioned by Gegard Mousasi at a UFC on FUEL TV card last April.

UFC FN 46 will feature Conor McGregor taking on Diegao Brandao in the main event, and will be hosted by Dublin, Ireland.
