UFC FN 46: Norman Parke Versus Naoyuki Kotani Latest Addition
By FCF Staff
Northern Ireland’s Norman Parke will compete at the UFC’s return to Dublin, as the promotion has announced the lightweight will battle Naoyuki Kotani on July 19th. The bout will be part of UFC Fight Night 46, which will be hosted by the city’s O2 facility.
Parke (19-2-1) is coming off a majority draw versus Leonardo Santos in March, which brought an end to the fighter’s nine fight winning streak. Since defeating Colin Fletcher to win the TUF Smashes series in 2012, Parke has gone 3-0-1 in the UFC.
Kotani (33-10-7) will be returning to the UFC for the first time since 2007, when he dropped bouts to Dennis Siver and Thiago Tavares. More recently, the Japanese fighter has put together a 13 fight win streak.
UFC FN 46 will be headlined by a featherweight bout between Conor McGregor and Cole Miller.
