UFC FN 48: Michael Bisping Takes Out Cung Le
By FCF Staff
Michael Bisping made sure he remained a top ten ranked middleweight today at UFC Fight Night 48, by stopping renowned vet, Cung Le.
Bisping caught Le early on with a hard left jab, which quickly closed up the highlight reel striker’s right eye. Not long after, Bisping also cut Le by his left eye as well.
Although Le battled on, and landed several hard body kicks in the following rounds, Bisping continued to outscore the bloodied fighter. In round four, Bisping eventually put away Le with a knee to the head and a flurry of punches.
In the co-headliner, Tyron Woodley caught Dong Hyun Kim early with a right hand as he attempted a spinning attack, and then finished the bout with follow up punches.
UFC FN 48 was hosted by the Cotai Arena in Macao, China.
