The UFC has started building the line-up for its September 5th, Fight Night card in Connecticut, as the promotion has announced Joe Lauzon will face Michael Chiesa. The lightweight fight will go down at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard.

Lauzon (23-9) will be fighting for the first time since December, when he scored a unanimous decision win over Mac Danzig. The rugged vet was coming off decision losses to Michael Johnson and Jim Miller heading into the bout.

Chiesa (11-1), on the other hand, is coming off back-to-back victories over Colton Smith and Francisco Trinaldo, after losing by decision to Jorge Masvidal.

The main event for UFC FN 50 has yet to be announced.
