UFC Fight Night 54 has received two more bouts, as the promotion has announced that Bryan Caraway will battle Raphael Assuncao, and that Kailin Curran will face Paige VanZant.

The October 4th card will be hosted by the Halifax Forum in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and will feature Rory MacDonald vs. Tarec Saffiedine in the headliner.

Assuncao (22-4) is riding a six fight win streak and is currently ranked #3 in the UFC’s bantamweight division.

Caraway (19-6), meanwhile, is coming off victories over Johnny Bedford and Erik Perez and is 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.

Curran (3-0) makes her way to the UFC having gone undefeated while competing for Pacific Extreme Combat.

VanZant (3-1) is coming off a win over Courtney Himes in April, 2013. The only woman to defeat the strawweight to date is Tecia Torres, who did so via decision at Invicta FC 4 in January, 2013.
