Cub Swanson was able to land some telling shots early on in his UFC FN 57 scrap with Frankie Edgar, but the latter’s wrestling and top game proved to be too much for the featherweight contender.

After the opening round of the card’s main event, Edgar took over the fight with his takedowns and ground-and-pound. Although there was little doubt that Edgar was going to cruise to victory in round five, the former lightweight champ finished the fight with a late, rear-naked-choke / neck crank.

With the one sided win, Edgar ended Swanson’s six fight win streak, and ensured he remained in the title shot mix.

Here are the official results for the event, which was hosted by the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas.
