UFC FN 60: Cody Pfister Replacing Jake Lindsey
By FCF Staff
UFC Fight Night 60 has received a change, not far out from the February 14th event, as the promotion has announced that Jake Lindsey has been forced to withdraw from his bout with James Moontasri,
As a result, lightweight and Octagon newcomer Cody Pfister has been tapped to fight Moontasri at the event, which will take place in Broomfield, Colorado.
Pfister (11-3-1) makes his way to the promotion having gone 7-0-1 since he was defeated by UFC vet Tim Means in 2011. Pfister competed in the “Ultimate Fighter Live” season back in 2012, and was submitted by Vinc Pinchel. Since TUF bouts are not official fights it is not reflected on the lightweight’s record.
Moontasri (7-2) is coming off a split decision loss to Joe Ellenberger last June, which marked his UFC debut.
UFC FN 60 will feature a welterweight bout between Brandon Thatch and Stephen Thompson in the main event.
