UFC FN 66: Luke Barnatt to Face Mark Munoz in “The Filipino Wrecking Machine’s” Last Bout, According to Report

Recently the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced, that as Mark Munoz desired, the veteran middleweight will fight at the promotion’s debut card in the Philippines on May 16th. The UFC has confirmed that Munoz will fight Luke Barnatt at the event, and according to a follow up report, “The Filipino Wrecking Machine” plans to retire after the contest.

The 37 year-old Munoz (13-6) is coming off a first round, choke out loss to Roan Carneiro at UFC 184 last month, which was his third straight defeat. The accomplished wrestler and former contender was in Manila on Monday to announce the bout, and according to a report from Bloody Elbow.com, Munoz has announced that the fight will be his last.

Barnatt (8-2) is coming off consecutive, split decision losses to Sean Strickland and Roger Narvaez.

UFC FN 66 will be hosted by the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, and in the main event, featherweight Frankie Edgar will take on Urijah Faber.
