After being added, and then pulled from UFC 186 in a matter of days, Steve Bosse has been re-booked for his Octagon debut.

Bosse was signed to face Fabio Maldonado on April 25th, after Bellator was granted a temporary injunction to prevent “Rampage” Jackson from fighting. The injunction, however, was lifted shortly before UFC 186, and Bosse was pulled from the card.

Well, recently the promotion announced that Bosse will fight Thiago Santos on June 27th at UFC Fight Night 70. The card will be hosted by the Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Bosse (10-1) will be fighting for the first time since May, 2013, when he stopped Caleb Grummet. The former professional hockey player was scheduled to fight Ryan Jimmo at the TUF Nations Finale last April, but the light-heavyweight incurred an injury and announced his retirement soon after.

Santos (10-3) fought at UFC 183 in January and stopped Andy Enz. “Marreta” has gone 2-2 in the UFC to date.
