Yoel Romero recorded his biggest MMA win to date tonight at UFC Fight Night 70, and the middleweight is going home with an extra $50,000 as a result.

Romero knocked out fellow middleweight contender Lyoto Machida with a brutal series of elbows in the main event, and earned a “Performance of the Night” award.

The other POTN went to Thiago Santos, who starched middleweight Steve Bosse with a fight ending, head kick in round one.

“Fight of the Night”, and $50K each, went to welterweights Lorenz Larkin and Santiago Ponzinibbio. Larkin won the thrilling bout via second round, stoppage.

UFC FN 70 was hosted by Hollywood, Florida.
