UFC Fight Night 73 has received a change just a couple of weeks out from the August 8th card, as the promotion has announced that Chris Dempsey is moving to 205, and will fight Justin Wilson.

The latter was originally scheduled to fight Jared Cannonier at the event, however, an injury has forced him to withdraw.

Dempsey (11-2) is coming off a split decision win over middleweight Eddie Gordon in April, after he was KO’d by Ilir Latifi.

Wilson (6-0), meanwhile, will be making his Octagon debut. The light-heavyweight knocked out Daniel Ynojos in his last fight, which took place last August at a Gladiator Challenge card.

UFC FN 73 will be hosted by Nashville, and in the main event, Glover Teixiera will take on fellow, light-heavyweight contender Ovince Saint Preux.
