The line-up for UFC Fight Night 73 continues to grow, as the promotion has announced that a middleweight bout between Sam Alvey and Derek Brunson has been added to the card.

The card will go down on August 8th at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Alvey (26-6) will be looking to continue his recent run of finishes, as the veteran is coming off stoppage wins over Dylan Andrews, Cezar Ferreira and Daniel Kelly. Alvey has gone 3-1 in the UFC to date.

Brunson (13-3), meanwhile, is coming off consecutive wins over Lorenz Larkin and Ed Herman. The experienced wrestler has gone 4-1 so far in the UFC.

UFC FN 73 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight fight between Glover Teixeira and Ovince Saint Preux.
