Neil Magny won’t have to wait long for his next bout, as following his loss to Demian Maia on August 1st, he’s been booked to fight Erick Silva on August 23rd.

On Tuesday, the UFC announced that the welterweight is stepping in for the injured Rick Story, who was scheduled to fight Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 74. The upcoming event will take place in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The nature of Story’s injury was not disclosed.

Magny (15-4) has his seven fight winning streak snapped by Maia at UFC 190, as the jiu-jitsu champ submitted him with a second round, rear-naked-choke.

Silva (18-5), meanwhile, is coming off a submission win over Josh Koscheck in March. The welterweight is 3-2 in his last five fights.

UFC FN 74 will be headlined by a featherweight bout between contenders Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway.
