Barnett

By FCF Staff

Roy Nelson’s toughness was on full display once again tonight in Saitama, Japan, but the cardio and clinch game of Josh Barnett won out in the UFC FN 75 headliner.

Nelson took Barnett down on several occasions during the memorable fight, and landed some hard shots, but “The Warmaster” outscored “Big Country” for five rounds. After the gruelling bout, Barnett was awarded the unanimous decision win.

In the co-main event, Uriah Hall spent much of round one on his back, but came back in round two to score a highlight reel win. Not long into the second frame, Hall floored Mousasi with a spinning kick and flying knee to the head, and finished the fight with follow up punches.
