It didn’t take the UFC long to find a new competitor for its November 21st main event, as the promotion has announced Neil Magny has agreed to step-in for the injured Matt Brown.

On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Brown will no longer fight Kelvin Gastelum at UFC FN 78, as he’s been forced to withdraw due to injury. The nature of Brown’s injury wasn’t disclosed.

Magny (16-4) is coming off a split decision win over Erick Silva in August, in what was the welterweight’s ninth fight since 2014 began. Magny has gone 8-1 during that time.

Gastelum (11-1), on the other hand, is coming off a stoppage win over Nate Marquardt in June. Prior to that he was decisioned by Tyron Woodley.

UFC FN 78 will take palce in Monterrey, Mexico.
