Paige VanZant showcased a ton of heart and toughness in her UFC Fight Night 80 bout versus Rose Namajunas, but the latter dominated the strawweight en route to a submission win.

In the card’s headliner, Namajunas outscored VanZant with strikes and repeatedly took the latter to the floor, where she forced VanZant to defend many submission attempts. Finally, in round five, Namajunas tapped out a bloodied and very game VanZant with a rear-naked-choke.

In the card’s co-headliner, Michael Chiesa stunned Jim Miller with punches as he went for a leglock in round two, and secured a fight ending rear-naked-choke not long after.
