UFC Fight Night 83 will no longer feature a bantamweight fight between Cody Garbrandt and John Lineker, as the latter has withdrawn due to illness.

According to a report from Portal do Vale Tudo, Lineker is suffering from dengue fever and will no longer compete. The fighter also confirmed his withdrawal on Twitter.

The UFC has yet to make an official announcement regarding Lineker’s status, or whether a replacement is being sought for Garbrandt.

Lineker moved up to 135 pounds this past September and submitted Francisco Rivera in the opening round. The former flyweight contender has won three straight.

UFC FN 83 will take place on Sunday at Pittsburg’s Energy Consol Center. In the main event, Donald Cerrone will take on Alex Oliveira.
