Mark Hunt sent his Australian fans home buzzing with another thrilling, knockout at UFC FN 85, as the feared slugger took out Frank Mir in the opening round.

After Mir failed to take Hunt down on a couple of occasions, the latter floored the former heavyweight champ with a booming right hand. Mir appeared to still be conscious, but the referee called off the bout to prevent him from taking any further punishment. Hunt, however, was already walking away to celebrate the win…

In the co-headliner, Neil Magny survived a vicious onslaught of strikes from Hector Lombard in round one, and came from behind to stop the welterweight contender in round three.
