Neil Seery will face one of the flyweight division’s most elusive and talented strikers in Kyoji Horiguchi on Sunday, but the Irish vet says his power will be an effective equalizer.

Seery will face Horiguchi tomorrow at UFC Fight Night 87, which will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Recently the 36 year-old vet spoke with UFC.com bout the upcoming bout, and here is some of what he had to say:

“I guarantee that I’m the hardest hitter at flyweight. There aren’t many people who throw as hard as I do, and that’s not me blowing smoke up your arse. I hit like a motherf****r. Nine out of 10 people are going down if I hit them. That’s why people shoot on me, and that’s when I know I’ve hurt them…

“It’s hard to figure him out. Do you strike him on the way in? Do you strike when he strikes? Only time will tell.”

The 16-11 fighter is coming off a submission win over Jon delos Reyes in October, while Horiguchi (16-2) earned a UD win over Chico Camus in September.
