UFC Fight Night 92 will feature a compelling featherweight clash between Yair Rodriguez and Alex Caceres tonight, and recently UFC commentators Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian weighed-in on the match-up.

Rodriguez (8-1) has won all four of his official, UFC bouts to date, since the dynamic striker competed on TUF Latin America. In Rodriguez’s first UFC bout, he decisioned Leandro Morales to win the TUF competition.

Caceres (12-8), meanwhile, has won two in a row since he elected to move up from bantamweight to featherweight.

On the latest edition of “UFC Tonight“, here is some of what Florian and Cormier had to say about tonight’s bout (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“His striking is what sets him apart from everyone else,” Cormier said, while discussing Rodriguez’s keys to victory. “He’s got to vary his attack. But he’s got to wrestle as well. He also needs to use his reach. He’s longer, but might need to be more patient because Caceres has the same type of skills as he does.”

“Caceres has excellent striking and mixes things up” said Florian, while evaluating what Caceres needs to do. “He’s got to move forward. He’s very good moving forward and mixing up his striking. He needs to let his offense flow. Plus, he’s got to look for submissions. He’s dangerous from the mat.”

Both Florian and Cormier are reportedly picking Rodriguez to win tonight’s bout. UFC FN 92 will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah.
