UFC on FOX 12 has picked up a notable lightweight fight, as Daron Cruickshank will take on Jorge Masvidal at the July 26th card.

The upcoming event will be hosted by the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The Cruickshank-Masvidal match-up was retweeted by the UFC after FOX Sports.com reported the bout.

Cruickshank (15-4) is coming off consecutive stoppage wins over Erik Koch and Mike Rio, after being submitted by Adriano Martins last November.

Masvidal (26-8) scored a decision win over Pat Healy in his last outing, after losing by UD to Rustam Khabilov at Fight for the Troops III.

UFC on FOX 12 will also feature a light-heavyweight bout between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Anthony Johnson, and a lightweight scrap between Josh Thomson and Michael Johnson.
