UFC heavyweight Matt Mitrione

Matt Mitrione has certainly been known to verbally battle with his opponents heading into fight night, but as UFC on FOX 13 approaches, the heavyweight has taken a different approach.

Mitrione is scheduled to fight longtime contender, Gabriel Gonzaga, on Saturday night at the Phoenix bound event. Recently, the heavy handed heavyweight posted a rather memorable message for Gonzaga on Instagram:

Dearest @gonzagabjj this song made me think of you. In just 6 short days I'll find out! #ufconfox13 @ufc #Team2Ton

Mitrione is coming off consecutive, KO wins over Derrick Lewis and Shawn Jordan, after he was choked out by Brendan Schaub last September.

Gonzaga, on the other hand, was decisioned by Stipe Miocic in his last outing, after stopping Dave Hermand and Jordan in back-to-back bouts.
