UFC on FOX 14: Nikita Krylov vs. Stanislav Nedkov Among Latest Bouts Confirmed
By FCF Staff
The Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed three more bouts for its January 24th, FOX card, including a light-heavyweight fight between Nikita Krylov and Stanislav Nedkov.
UFC on FOX 14 will be hosted by Stockholm, Sweden’s Tele2 Arena, and will feature light-heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson taking on Anthony Johnson.
Nedkov (12-1) hasn’t fought since last February, when he was stopped by Tom Watson. Krylov (17-4), on the other hand, is coming off a stoppage win over Cody Donovan in July.
At heavyweight, Konstantin Erokhin (9-1) will make his Octagon debut against Viktor Pesta (9-1). The latter made his promotional debut in May and was decisioned by Ruslan Magomedov. Erokhin (9-1) knocked out WSOF and Bellator vet Dave Huckaba last time out, which took place at a New Stream card last month.
And finally, in lightweight action, Yan Cabral will take on Mairbek Taisumov. Cabral (12-1) tapped out Naoyuki Kotani at UFC 179 on October 25th, and Taisumov (22-5) TKO’d Marcin Bandel at a Fight Night card earlier in the month.
