Beneil Dariush has some serious momentum behind him, and according to the rising lightweight, his game is reaching new heights as UFC on FOX 15 approaches.

The 25 year-old fighter is coming off an impressive, submission win over Daron Cruickshank at UFC 185 last month, which was Dariush’s third straight victory. Then, just recently, Dariush got the call to fight perennial contender Jim Miller this Saturday, after Paul Felder withdrew due to an injury.

In a recent interview with UFC.com, Dariush (10-1) discussed his decision to face Miller, and while doing so, stated the following:

“I’m so happy with my training right now. Coming back into the camp so fast, I feel like I’ve hit another level. I feel way better than I did four weeks ago, which sounds crazy, but I can feel myself improving. So many things feel sharper. I’m going to show a new level – a new pace, new pressure.

“I think the most important thing for me is to have a steady pace (of fights) and keep moving up. Cruickshank was where the people started to notice me more, but I can’t be thinking about people noticing me. I can’t be worried about that. I have to keep focusing on improving because with wins, it’s going to happen.”

Miller (24-5), meanwhile, will be fighting for the first time since last July, when he was knocked out by Donald Cerrone.

UFC on FOX 15 will be hosted by the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
