Dillashaw hitting Barao

Now that TJ Dillashaw has defeated Renan Barao for a second time, the bantamweight champ is looking towards the man who held the belt before them, Dominick Cruz.

Dillashaw stopped Barao in the fourth round at UFC on FOX 16 last night, and after the victory, he told FOX Sports 1 the following (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release).

“If he stays healthy,” said Dillashaw, when asked if he’d like to face Cruz next. “I don’t know if he can. Come on Dominick. Let’s get after it. He used to be the champ.”

Cruz has fought just once since 2011 due to series of knee injuries. The former champ is currently ranked #2 in the UFC’s 135 division.
